雅思写作审题技巧介绍

　　1. 对词汇理解错误

　　示范：2013年11月16日雅思作文真题：Some languages are increasing in use，while many others are declining. do you think this is a positive or negative development?关于题目中的development这个词，很多考生理解成了“发展”， “你认为这是积极的还是消极的发展?”在考场上有些同学就会去思考这是个什么样的发展而浪费很多时间。Development这个单词在雅思作文题目中是个“常客”， 意思就是phenomenon/trend(现象)。除此以外，还有一个词值得一提，即outweigh (超过v.), 比如: Does the advantage of international travel outweigh the disadvantage?

　　2. 忽视题眼

　　示范：2013年9月12日雅思作文真题：Many countries nowadays prolong the working hours for better economic development, but it will cause many social consequences. Should this action be encouraged? 现在很多国家为更好的经济发展延长人们的工作时间，但是这会引发很多社会问题。我们应该鼓励这种举措吗?题眼就是经济发展、社会问题。很多同学选择写不同意，即不应该鼓励这样的举措。那么在分论点上就应该往social impacts来写，而非像一些同学第一时间联想到的employees would be too exhausted, 那么就应该延展思路，写出Juvenile delinquency may deteriorate with the absence of in-time parenting. (因为缺乏及时的管教，社会上的青少年犯罪会愈发恶化。)同理，如果写同意此观点，那么应该从对国家经济的促进作用来论证。

　　3. 不注重单复数

　　示范：2013年9月21日雅思作文真题：What are the elements of building a perfect society, and what should the public do to achieve this? 大家应该注意到了，题目中的elements是复数，意味着考生应该在作文中写出构建完美社会所需的不同的元素，而非某个独立元素。比如可以写：a well-rounded social welfare system完善的社会福利系统, social trust社会诚信, a low unemployment rate低失业率，a narrowing wealth disparity更小的贫富差距等等。

　　4. 不注重前后衔接关系

　　示范：2013年10月26日雅思作文真题：Some people think the improvement of living standard only benefits cities more than rural areas. What are the problems and solutions? 一些人觉得生活水平的提升带给城市的好处多过农村地区。有什么样的问题以及解决措施? 通过上下文我们可以理解题目中的问题是针对于农村地区，要紧扣农村地区的特征，就不难想到问题有： a soaring unemployment不断攀升的失业问题, deteriorating environmental pollution恶化的环境污染，prevalent materialism普遍的物质主义。

　　5. 忽视比较

　　示范：2013年11月9日雅思作文真题：Young people who commit serious crimes should be punished in the same way as adults. To what extent do you agree or disagree? 犯罪的年轻人应该以成年人的方式受到惩罚。题目中本身具备年轻人和成人间的比较，需要在论证中提出。

　　6. 忽视写作任务

　　示范：2013年11月30日雅思作文真题： More and more people want to buy famous brands of clothes, cars and other items. What are the reasons? Do you think it is a positive or negative development?题目中有两个写作任务，分析原因以及给出立场。一些同学由于紧张，就只完成了其中一个任务。

　　7. 忽视谓语动词

　　示范：2013年12月7日雅思作文真题： It is important to preserve both the culture and environment of the places you visit, but some people think it is impossible to be a 'responsible tourist. Do you agree or disagree? 写作任务中的谓语动词是possible, 选择写同意的考生，就需要写出为什么可能。即写出具体的措施。

　　8. 找不到题目中的重点

　　示范：2013年12月21日雅思作文真题：Scientists advise people to lead a healthy lifestyle, but most people continue with unhealthy activities. Why? What are the solutions? 科学家们建议人们过一种健康的生活方式，但是很多人继续不健康的活动。关于这个现象，一些同学以为重点是前面半句，就一门心思去解释为什么科学家要建议人们过健康的生活方式。

　　9. 忽视措施的动机

　　示范：2014年1月7日雅思作文真题：The best way for the government to solve the traffic congestion is to provide free public transport 24 hours a day, 7days a week. To what extent do you agree or disagree? 这个题目属于措施型的问题，同意或不同意都应该着重于措施的动机，即解决交通堵塞问题。

　　10. 对现象理解不全面

　　示范：2014年1月18日雅思作文真题：In the school, children find it difficult to concentrate or pay attention. What are the reasons? How can we solve this problem? 现象有两种表现，即孩子难以集中精神或很难注意听讲，这可以一分为二地寻求原因。
